Information for Speaker/Authors

Location
. All CCNC 2008 sessions will be held at the Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel.

On-Site Registration
. Badges should be picked up from the CCNC Registration desk prior to your session.
. On-site registration hours will be posted closer to the conference date.

. Room Rate: $165.00 single/double Additional person $20.00
. Rates listed above do not include 9% tax

TECHNICAL SESSIONS PRESENTERS
 
Presenting Your Paper

Each oral presentation is allocated a 20 minutes slot. Please prepare a 15 minutes talk to allow for questions. The order of presentations in each session is given in the conference program.  Short papers will have 10 minutes of presentation time.

Presenter should arrive at the session room at least 5 minutes before the session starting time. Speakers are required to try out the equipment before their session begins or during the breaks.

Audio Visual

Each session room will have an LCD projector, screen, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer. You need to bring your own laptop to use with the LCD.  If you do not have a laptop, please contact Diane Williams at d.williams@comsoc.org before the conference.

Registration

IEEE COMSOC POLICY:
All IEEE CCNC 2008 technical paper presenters must register at the FULL rate.
For authors presenting multiple papers, one FULL registration is valid for up to three papers.
If additional authors are attending the conference or your session they must register at the appropriate rate.

TUTORIALS PRESENTERS

Audio - Visual
Each tutorial presentation room will be set with an LCD projector, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer. If you require an overhead projector, laptop or other equipment please email d.williams@comsoc.org

Registration
Tutorial presenters will receive a Full Complimentary Registration for the Conference.  Your badge will be available for pick-up at the Pre-Registration Counter on-site.   

PANELS PRESENTERS

Audio - Visual
The panel presentation room will be set with a Lectern and Microphone LCD projector, lavaliere microphone and laser pointer. If you require an overhead projector, laptop or other equipment please email d.williams@comsoc.org

Plan on being at your session 20 - 30 minutes prior to the start time in order to make certain that your presentation is set.

Registration

All IEEE CCNC 2008 panel presenters must register at the FULL rate.

KEYNOTE AND PLENARY SESSIONS
A member of the IEEE CCNC 2008 Committee or IEEE Communications Society Staff will contact you to discuss your needs 3-4 weeks before the conference. If you have any questions beforehand please email d.williams@comsoc.org
