The project management tool used for tracking and reporting the planning progress for each ICC and GLOBECOM conference is the Decision Matrix (DM). The DM is made up of 43 specific deliverables. Each deliverable is scheduled at a specific milepost for the conference planning period (36 months). The mileposts are referred to by "C-n" which is "Conference minus n months," or "n" months prior to the conference. |

|
Each Organizing Committee (OC) is to structure their conference planning around the DM and report on each deliverable to the appropriate committee (GIMS or GITC) at the designated time. To assist the OCs in preparing their deliverable reports, the Deliverable Explanations and Guidelines document provides an explanation of each deliverable and guidelines on what to report when the deliverable is due. |

There are also Registration Fee Templates (one for 2008 and one for 2009) which are to be used when presenting the PRELIMINARY REGISTRATION FEES TEMPLATE (C-24), REVISED PRELIMINARY BUDGET (C-18), FINAL REGISTRATION FEES TEMPLATE (C-12), and the FINAL BUDGET (C-6) deliverables. Instructions for completing the template are included. |

Each year, at the GLOBECOM meeting, GIMS formulates and approves the baseline registration fees for two years hence. At any given time, there will be two sets of approved registration fees each of which is to be used by specific conferences based on where they are in the planning process. A chart has been prepared to indicate when the approved fees are to be used by each conference. |
