Gen Marubayashi for many years of continued leadership in the field of power line communications (PLC), for his instrumental role in developing an international PLC community, and for his pivotal contributions to establishing an annual international PLC conference, which has evolved into the IEEE International Symposium on Power Line Communications and Its Applications.
