About Arun Pande
Dr. Arun K. Pande is currently the Head of the Innovation Lab at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Ltd. in Mumbai. (Tata Consultancy Services is an IT services, business solutions and outsourcing organization that is a part of the Tata Group, India's largest industrial conglomerate.) Dr. Pande has over 25 years of experience in conducting research, technology development, deployment and management. He was instrumental in generating Intellectual Property and deploying solutions based on state-of-the art technologies such as Video, Speech, Analytics, and Wireless. Dr. Pande has experience in building technology teams and developing a network with academics and the research community.

Dr. Pande holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. His current research and business interests lie in the areas of: broadband services, wireless data application, and speech & script technologies based applications for the masses. His current innovation on Mobile Based Advisory Services for farmers has earned him the following recogonitions: Grand Prize under Qualcomm’s Wireless Reach Program; Golden Peacock Innovation Award; and the Wall Street Journal Technology Innovation award under the "Wireless" category.
