It only takes 3-short steps to complete and submit your application!
- Complete the application. (The Spring 2009 application period opens 1 December 2008.)
- Verify that the information you have entered online is correct before you submit the application. Make sure that the name you enter on your application exactly matches the unexpired government-issued ID that you will present at the testing center. Due to security reasons, name changes cannot be made online after the application has been submitted.
- Print and keep a copy of the Candidate Profile page when prompted. This page is proof that your application is complete and has been submitted.
All candidates who submit an application will be issued an IEEE WCET ID number and receive a confirmation email acknowledgement within 24 hours indicating that their application was successfully transmitted. Subsequently, candidates who are deemed eligible will receive an Authorization to Schedule notice providing information on how to schedule the examination within two days of receipt of a completed application.
Your WCET ID number is very important! It will appear in three places: the Candidate Profile page, the confirmation email acknowledgement, and on the Authorization to Schedule notice. This IEEE WCET ID number is required to review and modify your application and to schedule your examination. This is also your unique ID number for any future IEEE examinations as well as for recertification.
